Jetty

Today I read a snippet about musique concrète and it quoted Henri Michaux from Passages:

To oppose noises, my own noise. This noise will then repel all the others, those that are now, those that were then, those of the day, collecting them through an unprecedented wonder of nature. Henri Michaux, 1950, ‘Composing’

So I searched some of his poetry and rediscovered The Jetty, written a year before the quote above. Nostalgically and homesickedly Seaside, Texas and my weekend travels to its jetties back in high school left me in a stunned gaze as I rode the train. My anima connected it to the following song tethering it all together.
